What we collect and why

When you use the quote form, call, WhatsApp or email us, we receive the details you choose to give: typically your name, phone number, your town or area, and a description of the work. We use these to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and carry out work you ask us to do. That is the lawful basis of legitimate interest and, once you engage us, taking steps to enter into a contract.

How the quote form works

The form on our contact page is delivered to our email inbox by FormSubmit, a form delivery service. Your submission passes through their service solely to reach us; we do not use it to build marketing lists.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
• We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.
• We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

How long we keep things

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Records connected to quotes and completed work are kept as long as is reasonably required for business and legal record keeping, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email landandmortar@gmail.com and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. One small value is stored in your browser (localStorage) to remember that you closed the cookie notice. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log basic technical data such as your IP address when your browser requests the font files.

If we change how this site handles data, this page will be updated. Last updated: 3 July 2026.
