From first sketch to final planting.

Garden Design

Good garden design is not decoration. It is problem solving: where the water goes, where the sun lands, how you actually want to use the space, and what the ground will honestly allow.

Finished walled garden design: porcelain terrace, black clay paver path and planted borders by bifold doors

Designed to be built, built as designed.

Plenty of garden plans look lovely on paper and fall apart on site. Ours do not, because the person drawing the plan is the person who will dig the footings. We design gardens we know we can build well, then we build them, so nothing gets lost between the drawing and the ground.

You deal with the same person from first visit to final sweep-up. Decisions stay quick, the details stay personal, and the garden ends up feeling like yours rather than a catalogue page. That is what our clients keep coming back for.

Materials are chosen for the house as much as the garden: porcelain where you want clean and modern, sandstone where the house wants something softer, brick and flint where there is history to respect, oak where it will be touched every day.

  • Site visit, honest advice and a free written quote
  • Levels, drainage and groundwork planned before anything else
  • Porcelain, sandstone, brick, flint and oak, from trusted merchants including Lawsons
  • Planting chosen for your light and your soil
  • One team from strip-out to hand-over

Fair questions

Do you design and build, or just design?

Both, together. We design gardens we know we can build well, then we build them. It keeps the plan honest and the finish exactly as drawn.

Can I bring my own ideas or a designer’s plan?

Please do. Some clients arrive with a full plan, others with a few saved photos. Either way we will tell you plainly what will work on your ground and what will not.

Where do you work?

Brighton & Hove, Rye, London and across the south east. We also take on selected projects in France and further afield.

When could you start?

We are currently booking 2026 projects. Get in touch early and we will hold you a realistic slot rather than an optimistic one.

Got a garden in mind?

Send a few photos and rough sizes, or just tell us the problem. Straight answers and a free quote either way.
